Seit Jahrhunderten sind Flöte und Harfe eng mit der Tradition der Britischen Inseln verbunden. Der legendäre Feenkönig Dagda selbst soll es gewesen sein, der die erste Harfe schnitzte. Ihrem Abbild begegnen wir heute auf Bierflaschen, Münzen und selbst auf dem irischen Wappen.
